Auditions
Confidence kills stress. Every aspect of the work you do with Julianna will reduce the stress of applying, interviewing & auditioning by building confidence through careful, methodical preparation.
For Actors
Julianna will help you find the best way to express yourself artistically so you can audition with strength and confidence. Working with Julianna not only prepares you to audition, it also prepares you for the training program ahead. The work she does is thorough and far-reaching. She’s with you from the beginning of the process to the time you accept an offer from a school.
Julianna can support you through these steps:
Identifying the schools that best fit your interests, goals and needs
Organizing timelines for applications, prescreens, letters of recommendation, and auditions
Building a professional resume
Helping you select the most professional headshot
Writing and editing your artistic statement/college essay
Selecting up to four monologues individualized to your strengths and personality (two from each category: comedic & dramatic, contemporary & classical)
Staging and rehearsing your monologues
Self-taping pre-screens
Choosing a song (for BFA) or a repertoire of music (for MT), which she will choreograph
Scheduling your auditions to be less stressful and more impactful
Conducting mock interviews
Rehearsing auditions and callbacks (slating, what to expect the day of the audition, how to behave in the room with the audition panel, and more)
Selecting the best clothes to wear so you look professional and feel your best
Rehearsing every aspect of the process so you feel prepared and self-assured
After the audition, she can tell you how to follow up in a professional way, what to do when you’re wait-listed, and how to weigh offers from multiple schools.
